Re-Collect

Re-collect is a website that has every function the user needs to digitize photos or other physical artifacts, ability to upload and organize, and share with family members. From the research, family was the most discussed theme in both the written memories and photo submissions. This allows people to evaluate the importance of photos, while addressing the need for a central location to share photos with family.

Throughout this project, I discovered how important family connection is for so many individuals. This design intervention facilitates the ability to remember and reconnect. Now family members will have the ability to connect with older generations they were never able to meet. Family members will also create stronger bonds to their family history. We are made to forget, but some things we want to make sure we hold onto.
